Delhi University has opened a mid-entry window for undergraduate admissions for the 2025–26 school year. This allows students who missed the initial rounds of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) to join the admission process. DU also allow students to get better seats or change their preference order based on open spots.
The mid-entry window gives applicants another chance to sign up, submit information, and compete for the remaining seats in DU University. This option now allows students who were unable to complete Phase-II submissions, missed deadlines, or experienced technical difficulties to access the system.
Besides mid-entry, DU has started the seat-upgrade feature. Students who got a seat can now ask for a better school or subject. This depends on whether there are available seats in different programs.
When the mid-entry process is done, the university will post the next allocation list. Students must take the seat they were given and pay within the time limit. Schools will check papers and confirm admission for students who meet the rules.
The update from DU is designed to give applicants more options during the hectic admissions period and ensure that everyone has an equal chance at seats.
