The Directorate of Education (DoE) has officially released the Delhi Nursery admission final draw list for the 2026-27 academic session. Parents who applied under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) categories can now check their child’s selection status online via the official portal at edudel.nic.in.
According to the DoE, a total of 4,144 entry-level seats have been allocated across private unaided recognized schools in Delhi. The final computerized lottery successfully allotted 1,309 seats for Nursery, 587 for KG, and 2,248 for Class 1. Alongside these entry-level numbers, the department separately declared the lottery draw results for the EWS/Freeship category covering admission to Classes 3 through 9.
Parents can quickly access the allocation results by following these simple steps:
Visit the official portal at edudel.nic.in or ewsadmissions.delhi.gov.in.
Navigate to the "Public Circulars" or "EWS/DG Admissions" tab.
Click on the link for the Delhi Nursery admission final draw list for the 2026–27 session.
Download the merit list PDF.
Search the document using your child's Registration Number or Name to find their designated school ID and name.
If your child's name appears on the list, you must report to the allotted private school immediately. To confirm admission, parents must complete the mandatory physical document verification. Ensure you carry original copies of income certificates, category proofs, age verification, and residential proofs along with necessary photocopies.
