Delhi CM SHRI School Admission 2026-27: 2nd and 3rd Waiting Lists Cleared by DoE

The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has officially processed the critical next rounds of waiting lists for the ongoing Delhi CM SHRI School admission 2026-27. This rollout targets vacant allocations across the 75 specialized high-infrastructure government institutions in the national capital.

As per the latest education department notification, authorities have cleared the 3rd Waiting List for Classes VI and IX along with the 2nd Waiting List for Class XI.

Selected students from these subsequent merit lists were given until 24 August 2026 to report to their respective allotted school branches for physical document verification and seat locking.

Delhi CM SHRI School Admission 2026-27: Criteria & Seats Breakdowns

The elite CM SHRI Schools network (previously known as the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence) administers seats based on a strict criteria mix:

• The 50% Rule: Half of the total intake (50% of seats) is legally reserved for students who cleared their previous classes (Grades 5, 8, and 10) from Delhi Government or Government-aided local schools.

• The Open Pool: The remaining 50% of seats are distributed to external qualifiers from private or other recognized institutions within the National Capital Territory.

• Strict Residency Mandate: Only verified residents of Delhi who completed the 2025–26 academic year at an authenticated Delhi school were cleared to sit for the initial entrance screenings.
