The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) papers 1 and 2 on its official website at any time.

The official CTET Answer Key will be available for access at ctet.nic.in. Candidates can access the CTET answer key by entering the required credentials.

Candidates can access the CTET answer key by entering the required credentials, such as application number, password, and captcha code. The CTET examination was held on February 7 and 8, 2026, in 140 cities all over the country.

The CTET examination will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) as its question format which requires students to select the single best answer from four possible choices. Each question is worth one point and the system does not apply any penalties for incorrect responses. The CTET assessment will consist of two separate examination papers.

(i) Individuals wishing to teach at the primary level (classes I-V) shall be required to appear in Paper I.

(ii) Individuals wishing to teach at the upper primary level (classes VI-VIII) shall be required to appear in Paper II.

Individuals who wish to teach at both primary and upper primary levels shall be required to appear in both papers (Paper I & Paper II).

In case a candidate is not satisfied with any of the answers in the answer key, he/she may challenge the same by submitting a challenge along with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- for each question within the stipulated time.

Only challenges that are paid for and made during the specific period will be reviewed. Challenges submitted without payment or through other means, such as email or letter, will be rejected. The board’s decision is final, and no further discussion will occur.

The board won't notify candidates about their challenges individually. The subject matter experts will check all received challenges. After that, they will prepare the final answer keys. Results will be based on the final answer keys. If subject experts agree with a challenge to an answer key, the money will be returned to the person who made the challenge after the results are released.
