Candidates applying for these positions must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university. Additionally, a mandatory ICT Skill Course certificate (Course on Computer Concepts-CCC) is required as per Chandigarh Administration norms.
For Clerks: Candidates must demonstrate a typing speed of 35 words per minute (WPM) in English on a computer.
For Steno-Typists: Proficiency in English Stenography at 80 WPM and a transcription speed of 20 WPM is required.
Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2026-Selection Process & Age Limit
The selection will be based on a Written Competitive Examination followed by a relevant Skill Test (Typing or Stenography). The age limit for General category applicants is typically 18 to 37 years, with age relaxations applicable for SC, OBC, and ESM candidates as per government guidelines.
