The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is providing the One-Time Registration Completion Facility for those who had started the process for the 21st CTET Feb 2026 registration but were not able to complete their application.
The CBSE has announced the completion of the application for the CTET Feb 2026. CBSE has released a notification wherein the application process for CTET Feb 2026 was from November 27 to December 18, 2025 (11:59 PM). In all, 2,530,581 candidates applied during that time.
According to the CBSE, as many as 3,53,218 candidates applied on the penultimate day of the registration process and 4,14,981 registrations were made on the last day.
After the deadline for submission, CBSE received complaints from candidates who were unable to file. The data of the application were verified and it was seen that 1,61,127 applicants had submitted their applications and had yet to submit application forms.
As the CTET is being held after a long gap of almost one year, the Board has considered the same with a view to make Commission sympathetic in its approach.
CBSE has also announced a one-time window for these candidates to fill out their applications on the CTET portal. The special facility will be available. Start from:
December 27, 2025 (11:00 AM)
December 30, 2025 (11:59 PM)
Only candidates who have already started the CTET registration process will be able to avail of this window. There will be no new registrations and no additional corrections.
The Board has clarified that:
During this period, fresh registrations will not be allowed.
Candidates are required to check their details and finalise them before submission.
After the deadline, the details can not be changed again.
