The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CBSE 12th Accountancy Exam 2026 on February 24, 2026. The examination will be conducted in a single shift- from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm across the country and abroad. The Class 10, 12 exam is conducted in all parts of India and in 26 international locations. Approximately 46 lakh students will take the Class 10 and 12 exams this year.
The Class 12 accountancy question paper will contain 34 questions which students must answer. The examination questions are organised into two sections which are Part A and Part B. Part A is compulsory for all candidates, while Part B provides two choices which are (i) Analysis of Financial Statements and (ii) Computerised Accounting. Students must choose only one option from the two alternatives.
All students who will take the exam must arrive at the exam centre by 10 am. The examination days will experience national and international summits which will lead to specific traffic regulations thus creating congestion and route diversions with delays throughout various regions of the country.
Students must bring their admit card to the exam centre.

Students must:
Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes early
Carry a printed CBSE admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/School ID/Passport)
Bring blue/black ball-point pens only
No electronic gadgets (phones, smartwatches) are allowed inside the exam hall
Follow centre rules and invigilator instructions throughout.
