BITS Law School, Mumbai, under the aegis of the prestigious BITS Pilani, has officially opened applications for its five-year integrated law programs for the academic year 2027. Aspirants can now apply for the highly competitive B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) residential courses directly through the institute’s official website.
The application window launched on 14 September 2026 and will remain open until 5 January 2027, with classes scheduled to begin in July 2027.
To be eligible for the 2027 intake, candidates must have completed their Grade 10 and 12 examinations (or equivalent) with a minimum cumulative score of 45%. Students currently awaiting their final Class 12 board results are also eligible to submit their applications.
Admissions are conducted through a comprehensive framework called the BITS Law Foundation Assessment (BLFA). This holistic selection process evaluates candidates based on their Class 12 board marks, entrance test percentiles, extracurricular achievements, and performance in a mandatory personal interview.
BITS Law School accepts scores from the dedicated BITS Law Admission Test (BITS LAT). Additionally, the institute considers top national and international law test scores, including CLAT, AILET, LSAT-India, SLAT, LNAT, and MH CET Law. The application processing fee is set at INR 2,000.
The fully residential Mumbai campus offers students five distinct specialization tracks: Technology & Media Law, Corporate & Financial Law, Entertainment & Sports Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and Public Law. To support meritorious students, BITS Law School provides extensive financial aid, including merit-cum-means assistance, diversity scholarships, and the prestigious Birla Scholarships for Legal Studies.
