The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the Bihar Police ASI Technical Recruitment 2026 Notification for the Bihar Police Radio (Wireless) Department. Eligible candidates seeking a stable government job in the state can submit their State Police ASI Technical online application form starting May 21, 2026. 

This hiring drive under Advt No 07/2026 aims to fill vacancies for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector in the wireless communication wing. The final deadline to complete the BPSSC ASI registration 2026 is June 21, 2026, on bpssc.bihar.gov.in.  

Bihar ASI Police Technical Vacancy 2026 Overview

According to the official BPSSC release, a total of 22 vacancies are available for this recruitment cycle. The chosen candidates will receive a competitive salary under Pay Level-5, with a basic pay scale ranging from INR 29,200 to INR 92,300 per month, alongside standard state government allowances.

Essential Police ASI Technical Eligibility Criteria

Prospective applicants must review the official State ASI Police eligibility criteria concerning education, age limits, and physical standards before applying.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised institution. Eligible engineering branches include Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology (IT), and Electrical & Electronics.

  • Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025): The minimum age requirement is 21 years. The maximum age cap is set at 37 years for General Male candidates, 40 years for OBC, EBC, and General Female candidates, and 42 years for SC and ST applicants.

  • Physical Standards: Male candidates from the General, OBC, and EBC categories must meet a minimum height requirement of 165 cm and a chest measurement of 81–86 cm. SC and ST male candidates require a minimum height of 160 cm. All female applicants must be at least 155 cm tall and weigh a minimum of 48 kg.
