The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) opens an application window for the recruitment of 300 Assistant Prosecution Officers (APO). The Home Department (Prosecution Directorate) is directing the vacancies process for the year 2026.
These vacancies were posted on February 25, 2026, and the application deadline is March 20, 2026. There is no provision for the late fee application submission. Aspire candidates can apply through the Official BPSC Website.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India. Students from the integrated law courses are eligible.
The candidate’s minimum age should be 21 years at the time of application.
Maximum Age Limit as of August 1, 2026:
Maximum Age (General Male): 37 years.
Maximum Age (General Female / BC / EBC): 40 years.
Maximum Age (SC / ST): 42 years
Candidates can submit their applications through the Official BPSC Website. The process involves One-Time Registration (OTR), filling out personal and educational details, and paying an application fee of INR 100.
If any candidates do not submit their Aadhaar number at registration time, they need to pay INR 200 additionally as a biometric fee.
