AILET 2027 Registration Opens: Apply Now for NLU Delhi Admission

NEW DELHI: National Law University (NLU), Delhi has officially released the notification and commenced the online application process for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2027). 

Aspiring law students targeting the prestigious NLU Delhi admission for the 2027-28 academic session must submit their forms before the deadline. Notably, NLU Delhi does not accept CLAT scores, making AILET the mandatory gateway for its programs.

AILET 2027 Schedule and Key Deadlines

The university has outlined a strict timeline for the entrance cycle. Candidates must track these crucial dates:

  • Application Window: August 7, 2026, to November 10, 2026

  • Admit Card Release: November 30, 2026

  • AILET 2027 Exam Date: December 13, 2026 (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

The offline, pen-and-paper exam will select candidates for 110 seats in the 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program and 70 seats in the 1-year LL.M. 

Eligibility and Entrance Structure

To qualify for NLU Delhi admission via the undergraduate track, general category applicants require a minimum of 45% marks in their 10+2 standard examinations (40% for SC/ST/PwD). For the postgraduate track, an LL.B. degree with at least 50% aggregate marks is required. There is no upper age limit for either program.

The AILET UG examination consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 120 minutes. The paper is divided into three segments: English Language (50 marks), Current Affairs & GK (30 marks), and Logical Reasoning (70 marks). 

A negative marking of 0.25 marks applies to every wrong answer. Eligible candidates can submit their forms directly via the official portal at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
