Each MAT 2026 result carries a composite score of 200 to 800 along with a percentile score for MBA/PGDM admissions and reveals which MBA colleges will offer admission to candidates based on their MAT score. How to Check your MAT 2026 Result  

You can expect the results of the February 2026 MAT exam by the last week of March 2026 (e.g. March 8 PBT results by March 25). Here is the procedure: 

  • Visit mat.aima.in.

  • Click "MAT Results"—enter form number and DOB.

  • Download scorecard PDF (includes sectional/composite scores, percentile).

  • Print/save; AIMA emails confirmation.

Results will also be sent to the 5 colleges you selected, and there is no re-evaluation. If there are errors, the AIMA helpline must be called within 48 hours. You rank is compared to more than 3 lakh candidates and a 90+ percentile is a record.  

Understanding your MAT score and percentile  

Scores are distributed from a range of 200 to 800.  The score percentile is your relative score to that of other candidates. Here are the basic figures:

  • 800-700 (95-99 percentile): Top 5%—mat top MBA colleges like BIMTECH (cutoff 95+).

  • 700-600 (80-95 percentile): Strong—XIME Bangalore, PSGIM (85-90 cutoff).

  • 600-500 (60-80 percentile): Mid-tier—Jaipuria Noida, NDIM Delhi (70+).

  • Below 500: Explore 200+ other MBA colleges (50+ percentile).

2025 trends: Average score ~550; toppers score over 750. Based on (110+ attempts) AND 80% accuracy. AIMA’s predictor tools after a mock.

Cutoffs for Top MAT Accepting Colleges

Scores accepted by the best MBA institutions that accept MAT have not be standardized across institutions, for example;

  • BIMTECH Greater Noida: 95+ percentile (NIRF 38).

  • JAGSoM Bangalore: 90-95 (strong placements, INR 9 LPA avg).

  • Jaipuria Noida: 85-90 (INR 14L, 95% placement).

  • XIME Bangalore: 80-85 (global tie-ups).

  • IPE Hyderabad: 75-80 (diverse specializations).

For lower-tier SIES Mumbai affiliates, expect 60+. Check the college sites for the selection criteria as formulated for the GD/PI, as the score is weighted at 50-70%.

Post-download:
