Admission to the M.E. program is decided by exams, grades, and a counselling session. The majority of colleges accept scores from GATE, TANCET, PGCET, or their own university tests. Additionally, some colleges also grant admission based only on your academic performance.
Make sure you are eligible first. Then, apply for the test and go to the counselling session or interview. Once your documents have been reviewed and the fees have been paid, you are formally admitted.
