Saveetha University is now Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS). It is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It became a university in 2005 and following the rules of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act. The university is NAAC A++ approved and is recognised by groups such as UGC, AICTE, DCI, MCI, and NIRF.

Saveetha University Eligibility Criteria 

Saveetha University has specific entry requirements for its programs. If you want to do a bachelor's degree, you usually need to have finished 10+2 with the needed subjects. For MBBS and BDS, students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have at least 50%.

You also need to pass the NEET-UG test. To study B.Tech, you should have Physics, Chemistry, and Math. You get in based on your scores in TNEA or JEE Main. 

For courses such as B.Sc Nursing and BPT, you also need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and you need to have at least 50% of the points.

A bachelor's degree is required for admission to master's programs. And you must have an MBBS for MD/MS and a BDS for MDS.  

Saveetha University Fees 

The Saveetha University Fee structure depends on what you study, how long the course is, and the level. You can expect to pay between INR 1,50,000 and INR 9,50,000 each year for most bachelor's degrees.

Medical and dental degrees, like MBBS and BDS are cost more because of the clinical and lab work. And Engineering degrees such as B.Tech usually cost INR 2,50,000 to INR 4,00,000 per year.

Saveetha University Result 2025

Saveetha University Chennai, posts exam results to allow students to know their admission status. The SIMATS Entrance Exam 2025 results should be out on April 15, 2025. Students can see their results on the university's website.
