The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to declare the UPTET 2026 exam results by mid-August 2026. Over 1.7 million aspirants who appeared for the primary and upper-primary teacher eligibility tests between July 2 and July 4, 2026, are currently awaiting the download of their scorecards.
Official evaluation sources indicate that the commission is in the final stages of compiling data. The results will be published exclusively on the state’s digital evaluation portals.

To clear the teacher eligibility benchmark, candidates must meet the strict minimum cut-off percentage criteria outlined below:

General / Unreserved |
60% |
90 Marks |
|
OBC / SC / ST / PwD |

82.5 Marks |
Candidates who clear the threshold will be issued the UPTET Eligibility Certificate. Following recent regulatory reforms, this passing certificate will hold lifetime validity, eliminating the need for candidates to reappear in future cycles to maintain eligibility for UP teacher recruitment drives.
