The UP Scholarship 2025-26 cycle is currently in its final processing and correction phase for many categories. The first application deadlines for most programs during the 2025-26 session have ended, but eligible students can now use the correction window.

The UP Scholarship 2025-26 is provided to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure they can complete their education without financial stress. It covers a wide range of students based on their education level and social category.
Scholarships are available for students belonging to the following groups who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh:
General Category
Scheduled Castes (SC)
Scheduled Tribes (ST)
Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Minority Communities (including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis)
Scholarship eligibility depends on annual family income, with different limits set for pre-matric and post-matric students across categories.
Pre-Matric All Categories: Rs.1 lakh per annum
Post-Matric (General/OBC/Minority): Rs.2 lakhs per annum
Post-Matric scholarship (SC/ST): Rs.2.5 lakh per annum.
The Correction Window is currently open:
Correction Deadline: Applicants can edit their form on the UP Scholarship Portal until February 13, 2026.
Hard Copy Submission: Corrected forms must be submitted to the students’ respective schools by February 18, 2026.
If an applicant missed his/her 2025-26 application round, please feel free to come back in the 2026–27 registration round to complete the process for the scholarship. The next schedule is planned as:
Next Academic Year: 2026–27 academic year
Expected Start: Registrations likely to open in July 2026
Mandatory Step: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the official portal before applying
