UP Board Practical Exam Second Chance: What Students Need to Know

There is an important message for those in preparation for the UP Board exams. According to the UPMSP, the practical exams for High School as well as Intermediate will take place from 24th January to 1st February, 2026. 

The UP Board has given one more chance up to 4th February so that every student can continue with his studies without any break. The practicals will continue from February 2nd to February 9th, 2026, with exams held in a number of sectors, including Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.

Admit Cards that are Coming Soon

The board examinations for High School and Intermediate levels will be conducted by UP Board from 18th February to 12th March, 2026. Admit cards will be released soon for which students should be ready.

Time Table, and Number of Examinees

There will be two shifts in the board examinations; the first shift starting at 08:30 am and ending by 11:45 am while the second shift will be from 02:00 pm to 05:15 pm.

More than 5. 2 million students are expected to sit for this year’s UP Board exams. To be precise, there are 2,750,945 registrations in High School and 2,479,352 enrolments in Class 12.

What Students Should Do?

In case a student fails to attend the practical exam on the scheduled day, he/she should call the school or examination centre immediately to confirm the exam slot before the expiration of today’s deadline. 

You need to ensure that you have all the necessary admit cards and practical record files that will be needed during submission under the board protocol.
