The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key, question papers, and candidate response sheets for the UGC NET June 2026 examination by mid-July. Candidates who appeared for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test can access and download the answer key online through the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The June session examinations concluded successfully across various centres nationwide on June 30, 2026. Following past trends, NTA usually publishes the preliminary answer keys within two weeks of the exam's conclusion, making their release imminent this week.
Once the link is activated on the official portal, candidates can follow these steps to download their documents:
Visit Portal: Go to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Click Link: Locate and click on the "UGC NET June 2026 Provisional Answer Key Challenge" link on the homepage.
Enter Credentials: Log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth, or your Password.
View & Save: Check your response sheet alongside the provisional master answer key. Download the PDF for score calculation.
The NTA will provide a window of 2 to 3 days for candidates to raise objections against any discrepancies found in the provisional keys. To challenge a question, candidates must submit valid supporting documents and pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per challenged question. Subject experts will review all submitted objections before compiling the final answer key and declaring the official UGC NET June 2026 results.
