UGC NET June 2025 Answer Key: Final Opportunity to Raise Objections by 5 PM Today 

A panel of subject experts will carefully review all objections. If they find any challenges to be valid, the answer key will be revised for all candidates.  

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shut down the answer key challenge window for the UGC NET 2025 exam at 5 PM on July 8, 2025. Candidates must ensure that they complete their fee payment by this deadline. Those who took the test can submit their objections via the official website. 

How to Raise Objections for the UGC NET Answer Key June 2025

  • To raise an objection, candidates must log in to official website of UGC NET. 

  • Choose the question you wish to object to. 

  • If you have supporting documents or explanations, feel free to upload them. 

  • The fee is 200 per question which you can pay through debit /credit card, net banking or UPI. 

  • Just make sure you submit your objection before the 5 PM deadline on July 8, 2025. 

Those candidates who submitted without a fee will not be considered. Moreover, objections submitted after the deadline or through offline mode will be rejected.  

What to Expect after Objecting? 

A panel of subject experts will review all objections. If any challenges are found to be valid, we’ll make the necessary changes to the answer key for all candidates. The final results will be determined using this updated answer key. Please note that individual notifications will not be sent regarding the acceptance or rejection of objections. 

Structure of the Exam and Evaluation Method 

  • Mode - Conducted as a computer-based test (CBT).

  • Papers - comprise two papers with multiple-choice questions. 

  • Purpose - Determines eligibility for the roles of Assistant Professor and/or award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). 

Scoring Guidelines 

  • You will get 2 marks for each correct response. 

  • There is no negative marking applied for incorrect answers. 

  • No marks will be given for the question left unanswered or marked for review. 

  • When questions are unclear or incorrect, all candidates will review full marks if applicable. 

The June 2025 cycle included a total of 85 subjects such as English, Hindi, Library Science, Mass Communication, Labour Welfare and a variety of regional and foreign languages.
