The UGC NET December 2025 exam ended on January 7, 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to soon post the provisional answer key and personal response sheets on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
A provisional answer key is a set of temporary official answers that is published shortly after the exam. The answer key assists the candidates in evaluating their correct answers and approximate scores prior to the announcement of the final result.
By providing an official reference for correct answers, it also promotes transparency.
If candidates have valid objections, they can submit evidence and a fee within a specified timeframe.
Browse the official website of the NTA UGC NET portal at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Search and click on the link "UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key Challenge/Response Sheet" on the homepage.
Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (or Password) as login credentials.
After logging in, click on "View Question Paper" to see your responses and "View/Challenge Answer Key" for the provisional key.
Save the files as a PDF for your records and score calculation.
Provisional Answer Key: Expected within a week of the exam, likely between January 14–16, 2026.
Objection Window: Open for 2–3 days with a fee of INR 200 per question challenged.
Final Answer Key & Result Expected to be released in early February 2026. Candidates should regularly check official NTA announcements for the latest information.
