The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) released its highly anticipated recruitment notification on July 29, 2026. A total of 7,437 vacancies are available across multiple state uniformed services.
Candidates can access the detailed notification booklets directly on the newly updated official portal attgprb.in.
While the post-wise vacancies and eligibility criteria are now live, the board has not yet announced the online registration schedule. The application start date, fee details, and exam timeline will be revealed shortly via a separate press release.
The massive recruitment drive is spread across the Police Department, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire & Emergency Services, and Prisons Department:
Constable & Allied Posts (7,112 Vacancies): SCT PC (Civil), SCT PC (AR), SCT PC (SAR CPL), TS Special Protection Force Constable, Fire Fighter, and Warder (Male/Female).
Sub-Inspector & Allied Posts (275 Vacancies): SCT SI (Civil), Reserve SI, SPF SI, Station Fire Officer, and Deputy Jailor.
Specialised Posts (50 Vacancies): Assistant Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint Bureau), Driver, and Mechanic.
Educational Cut-off Date: July 29, 2026.

Note: Age relaxations apply to BC, SC, ST, EWS, and ex-servicemen categories as per Telangana government rules.
The recruitment board will filter candidates through the following structural stages:
Preliminary Written Test (PWT): Screening test for SI and Constable posts (not applicable for Driver, Mechanic, and ASI posts).
Physical Test (PMT / PET): Mandatory physical standards and efficiency evaluation.
Trade Test: Only for Driver and Mechanic positions.
Final Written Examination (FWE): The definitive merit-ranking exam.
