The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced new exam dates for the remaining candidates for the Delhi Police Constable Exam 2025. This is for candidates who were unable to get exam centres due to technical limitations during slot selection.
The Commission has now set specific dates and locations for those candidates who are affected.
Almost all candidates were allowed to select their exam slots and centres before the extension of the slot selection facility was in effect, a fact that the SSC had communicated to the candidates through a notice dated December 4, 2025.
Despite the extension, there have been reports that in some cases the centre for certain candidates has been determined not by the city nor the alternate city, nor the date chosen by them.
The Commission decided to issue a separate schedule for individuals who had been impacted by the mismatch between candidate choice and centre allocation, stating that it was caused by operational difficulties.
Exams for the remaining applicants will take place on January 4, 2026, January 5, 2026, and January 6, 2026. Admission certificates for these candidates will be issued two to three days before the respective examination date. Candidates should obtain their admit cards from the SSC official website.
The Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025 comprises 7, 565 vacancies of Group C posts for both male and female candidates. The recruitment is for the post of Constable Executive in the Delhi Police. An applicant's age should be between 18 and 25 years as per the recruitment notification.
The selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level 3 which will carry a salary of Rs 21, 700 to Rs 69, 100. The selection procedure will start with a computer-based examination, which will take place from December 18, 2025, to January 6, 2026. Candidates qualifying in the examination will be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. Document verification and medical examination will follow thereafter.
The January exam dates are meant for candidates who missed earlier exam days or were unable to appear in the December test window; these slots give them another opportunity to take the Constable (Executive) CBT.
