The date for the SSC CHT Paper 2 Exam in 2025 has been announced. There appears to be good news for future candidates taking this test, which is a part of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination. The number of available positions has increased. Initially, there were 437 vacancies, but now the recruitment drive aims to fill 552 posts.

According to the official notice, the SSC CHT Paper 2 descriptive exam is scheduled for December 14, 2025. Admit cards for this exam should be available soon on the official website, ssc.gov.in.

So far, 3,642 candidates have successfully cleared the first stage (Paper 1) and are now ready to move on to this second stage. Paper 2 is a descriptive paper where candidates will write using pen and paper. It's worth 200 marks and tests how well candidates can translate between Hindi and English, as well as their essay-writing skills in both languages.

Speaking of vacancies, the Commission has updated the list, confirming the increase from 437 to 552 posts. Remember, the first part of the exam, Paper 1, was a computer-based test held on August 12, with a total of 6,332 candidates taking it.

The results for Paper 1 were announced back on November 4. The Commission mentioned that the results for two candidates were temporarily withheld, and the results for six others weren't processed because they were disqualified for some reason.

When will the SSC CHT 2025 Paper 2 admit card be released?

Well, the SSC hasn't announced a specific date just yet. Following the usual pattern the Commission follows, we can expect the CHT Paper 2 admit card to be made available roughly one week before the exam date. This is why candidates should monitor the official website, ssc.gov.in.

To get their admit card, candidates will need to log in using their application number and password. The admit card itself will have important details like the candidate's name, roll number, the exact exam date, the reporting time, the location of the exam centre, instructions for the descriptive paper, and guidelines to follow on exam day.

For those who successfully pass the SSC CHT Paper 2, the next step in the selection process will be Document Verification (DV). During this phase, candidates who have been shortlisted will need to bring along their original educational certificates, any category certificates they might have, proof of age, and any other necessary documents.

Finally, the allocation of posts will be decided based on how well candidates performed in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. This final decision will also depend on the verification of the submitted documents and the number of available positions in the participating departments.
