RRB JE 2025: Revised Vacancies Out, Railways Extends Application Last Date

RRB JE 2025 Application Submission Date Extended: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) extended the last date of application submission for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Now the last date of application submission is December 10 till 11:59 pm.

The payment deadline for the application is also extended to December 12, 2025, to give relief to the candidates.

Increase in RRB JE Vacancies

RRB has announced more vacancies in two units:

• Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, under RRB Jammu–Srinagar

• Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, under RRB Chennai 

With these additions, the total number of posts has risen from 2,569 to 2,588.

RRB JE Update: Correction Window Opens for JE Applications

RRB has also opened a modification window from November 25 to December 10, 2025.

Candidates can edit their RRB choice, post preferences, zonal railway, and production unit.

However, edits are allowed only within the same selected RRB.

From December 13 to 22, 2025, A paid modification window will also be made available, during which account details and the originally selected RRB cannot be changed.

RRB JE scribe details declaration

PwBD candidates needing a scribe must submit their scribe details from December 23–27, 2025, through their respective RRB portals.

RRB also clarified that the original notification remains unchanged and advised candidates to avoid touts, stressing that the process is fully computer-based and transparent.
