The Odisha government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has made significant decisions in a cabinet meeting on Monday. The three recruitment rules have been changed to streamline the hiring process for state government positions.
The government also approved presenting the 2025-26 supplementary budget to the State Assembly on November 27, during the winter session.
* The Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C Specialist Posts and Services Rules, 2022.
* The Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group B and Group C of Different State Cadre Posts or Services Rules, 2022.
* The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level or Equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts or Services Rules, 2022.
The officials stated that these changes will help to streamline processes. It also helps departments finish hiring on time and reduces confusion for job seekers. The administration stated that its top priority is fairness and providing qualified applicants with job opportunities.
