NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, publishes a recruitment notification (Advt. No. 04/26) for qualified medical professionals’ vacancies. The drive aims to fill 65 vacancies for General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) and Specialists across its various project hospitals and stations nationwide through the official portal careers.ntpc.co.in.
The recruitment covers a range of medical disciplines, providing a significant opportunity for healthcare professionals to join a Maharatna PSU. The positions include 20 posts of NTPC GDMO Vacancy.
Physician (General Medicine): 25 Posts

Age Limit: The upper age limit is set at 37 years, with applicable relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
Educational Qualifications:
GDMO: MBBS degree with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Specialists: MD/MS/DNB in the respective speciality General Medicine, O&G, Paediatrics).
Remuneration:
E2 Grade (GDMO): INR 50,000- INR 1,60,000.
E3/E4 Grade (Specialists): INR 60,000- INR 2,00,000, along with various perks and allowances typical of NTPC.
An application fee of INR 500 applies to General, EWS, and OBC categories, while SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Female candidates are exempt from payment.
