NEET PG 2025 Updates: Supreme Court to Hear Plea for Answer Key Transparency Today, September 12; Counselling News Here
The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the petition for transparency of the NEET PG 2025 answer key on September 12, 2025.
At the same time, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to soon release the counselling dates and schedule on their website, mcc.nic.in.
This counselling process is for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) MD and MS seats across the nation.
The petition aims to increase transparency by providing the entire question paper, rather than just question IDs.
Several NEET PG applicants have filed a case with the Supreme Court. They are requesting that the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) make the NEET PG 2025 exam questions available.
The students stated that the answer key from NBEMS was hard to understand. They mentioned they had trouble comparing their answers since they didn't have the full questions. They also claimed that not conducting the entire exam violated Articles 14 and 21 of the Indian Constitution.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle NEET PG 2025 counselling for half of the All India Quota (AIQ) MD and MS spots in the country. The NEET PG 2025 AIQ merit list has been released. Those on the list are invited to participate in counselling.
The NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule will soon be up on the official website. The dates and schedules for each round will be posted on the official website.
The states will conduct their own counselling for the other half of the spots. Gujarat has started its NEET PG 2025 counselling. Kerala and Karnataka have also released their bond policies.
