NTA has released a notice advising candidates that before proceeding with NEET UG registrations 2026, they should ensure that their Aadhaar card, UDID card and category certificate are updated. Candidates are advised to check here for the updates regarding registration fees, exam date, steps to check, etc.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the official announcement regarding NEET UG examination details including registration and exam schedule through its website neet.nta.nic.in.
In their latest announcement, NTA advised all potential applicants to have their necessary documents updated. And easily accessible before applying for NEET UG 2026 to prevent disagreements, complaints, or rejections afterwards.
Aadhaar Card is the main identity card for use at NEET registration 2026, the NEET examination day, as well as at the counselling session. It's advised that students' Aadhaar Cards and UDID Cards (for candidates with disabilities) be provided.
And Category Certificates should be up to date with information like name, date of birth, gender, photo, address, and biometrics (if applicable) to avoid delays at the end of the admissions process.
