NEET PG Counselling 2025: The second round of choice selection closes today at 1 p.m. Candidates must submit their choices at mcc.nic.in.
According to a recent announcement, 540 candidates have decided to withdraw from the NEET PG round 2 counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) stated that the hold on counselling was due to the addition of seats, removal of duplicate seats, and quota revisions.
After a pause, the MCC reopened NEET PG round 2 choice filling at 4 p.m. on December 12, with the closure at 1 p.m. today, December 13. This followed the addition of 135 postgraduate medical seats, bringing the total to 32,215.
Candidates who want to change their choices or their order must complete their selection and confirmation by 1 p.m.
The revised schedule for NEET PG round 2 counselling and the seat allotment result date will soon be available on mcc.nic.in. The MCC NEET PG round 2 seat allotment was earlier planned for December 12.
The MCC has also requested that medical colleges that provided seats in round 2 thoroughly review the seat matrix before the results are finalised.
The MCC will not address any seat reservations or duplicate contributions reported after Round 2 seat processing. Applicants should verify the seat matrix by 1:00 PM on December 13, 2025.
The MCC made the following changes based on information from medical colleges. The seats added after resignation, seats withdrawn due to institute duplication, and the AFMS seat quota revisions.
