Application Process & Fees

To take the exam, the candidates must first apply online through the official portal and also satisfy the basic eligibility requirements. The AIMA MAT is the official website to register. Any graduate or final-year student of any academic discipline can apply.

Registration Fee:

One Test Mode: INR 2,200

Two Test Modes (e.g., PBT + CBT): INR 3,800

MAT Exam Overview

This national-level Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is the primary selection tool for candidates in different skill areas. The MAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA).

  • Frequency: 4 times a year, in February, May, September, and December.

  • Exam Modalities: Paper-Based Test (PBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT), and Internet-Based Test (IBT)

  • Exam Format: 150 Multiple Choice Questions to be answered in 120 minutes

Marking System: +1 mark for each correct answer and - 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
