The LIC AAO 2025 Prelims exam is scheduled for today, October 3, 2025. It's being given in four shifts at test centres across India.
Life Insurance Corporation is administering the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Prelims exam online. Note that there will be negative marking and that this is a computer-based test. For each incorrect answer, 1/4 of a point will be deducted.

The expected LIC AAO cut-off for 2025 is also provided below. This should give candidates an idea of the number of questions they need to answer correctly to pass the prelims.
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is currently conducting the LIC AAO Prelims Exam 2025 to fill 760 Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) positions for both Generalist and Specialist roles.

The LIC AAO Prelims 2025 exam has three sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The exam is worth 100 points total. But the English section (30 points) is just a qualifier and won’t count toward your final score. You get one hour for the exam.
If you pass the prelims, you’ll move on to the LIC AAO Mains Exam 2025. The LIC AAO Prelims Exam for 2025 will penalise incorrect answers. A 1/4th will be subtracted for each wrong answer, so candidates should answer questions carefully.
