The merit list, KSET results 2025 subject-wise cut-off, and number of qualified candidates are available at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the provisional result of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025. Candidates can access KSET results 2025 on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KSET 2025 was held on November 2nd in a single session for the recruitment of assistant professors.
Out of 1,34,826 candidates, 1,21,052 candidates appeared for both papers. The exam was conducted in offline mode for 33 subjects at 11 exam centres. A total of 8,383 candidates have qualified for the test.
KEA has released the details of candidates along with the number of slots, subject-wise cut-offs, etc., on the official website besides the KSET 2025 result. On November 15, the final answer key, along with the provisional scores of candidates, was made available.
There were no changes in the answers of seven subjects. Candidates were given time till November 6 to raise their objections against the provisional KSET 2025 answer key.
KEA prepared a KSET 2025 merit list based on the candidate's marks submitted to the UGC formula and state reservation policy.
Step 1: The number of candidates qualifying for the post of assistant professor will be six per cent of the total number of candidates appearing for both papers.
Step 2: The overall number of places is broken down, and separate merit lists are created for each subject and category, based on the combined total marks of the candidates in the two papers.
Step 3: First, a candidate must have taken both papers and should have achieved at least 40% (120 out of 300 marks) in aggregate if the candidate belongs to the general (Unreserved) category. For the reserved categories, the minimum aggregate marks are 35% (105 out of 300 marks).
