Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the application deadline for its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes for the July 2026 academic session.
Prospective candidates now have until 08 September 2026 to complete and submit their online applications via the official university portal. Eligible candidates can register online through the JMI Admission Portal.
The extension offers a final opportunity for students seeking flexible learning options at one of India's premier central universities. Following the close of the registration window, JMI will conduct its highly anticipated distance learning entrance examinations.
The competitive entrance tests for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) distance programmes are scheduled to take place on 19 September 2026.
Direct Merit Admission: Admission to mainstream non-technical courses—including Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Arts (MA), and Master of Commerce (MCom)—will be granted based strictly on the candidate's marks in their qualifying examination.
Entrance Examination Required: Professional tracks like the MBA and B.Ed will strictly require candidates to qualify through the university’s dedicated entrance exam on September 19.
The registration fee is structured at INR 500 for general undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and INR 1,500 for professional programmes (MBA and B.Ed).
Applicants must ensure they possess a valid email ID, mobile number, scanned academic transcripts, and a pre-generated Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID before starting the online application form on the JMI CDOE Registration Portal.
