The Indian Army has released the recruitment notification for the Indian Army SSC Tech 68 Women Course. Eligible female engineering graduates can now submit their applications online through the official website.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 31 officer-level vacancies for the course commencing in April 2027 at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
The online registration window,joinindianarmy. nic. in, opened on July 8, 2026, and will close on August 6, 2026.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in engineering streams. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the course commencement.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 20 and 27 years of age as of April 1, 2027. (Born between April 1, 2000, and March 31, 2007).
Marital Status: Only unmarried female candidates and eligible widows of defence personnel are qualified.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their cumulative engineering marks up to the final year/semester. Shortlisted applicants will receive call letters for the 5-day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview process, followed by a medical examination. There is no application fee for this recruitment.
