IIT Jodhpur Opens M.Tech Admissions For 2026-27; Get link for COAP

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur invites online applications for admission in M.Tech and M.Tech-Ph.D. dual Degree programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. GATE-qualified candidates and eligible IIT graduates can now submit their applications through the institute’s online admission portal.

Students can get the link of COAP that is a centralised online platform where all participating IITs and IISc Bangalore publish their M.Tech admission offers. The Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) can also post job offers for GATE-qualified candidates at the COAP portal. The official COAP registration link is coap2026.iitr.ac.in

Eligibility and Application Fee

  • Candidates generally require a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).

  • A valid GATE score is mandatory for most applicants, though B. Tech graduates from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or higher are exempt from the GATE requirement [1].

  • The application fee is INR 300 for General/OBC candidates and INR 150 for SC/ST/PwD applicants per programme.

Despite the COAP counselling Portal applications, Candidates must apply to each IIT/PSU individually through their respective websites.
