Google Student Researcher Program 2026: Applications Ending March 31, Check Direct Apply Link

There is currently open registration for Google Student Researcher 2026 which will close on 31st March 2026. Applications for the Google Career website will be accepted for students who are currently studying a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree. 

Selected students will be placed in a role of apprentice or intern role within research groups such as Google DeepMind, Google Research or Google Cloud. The selected students will be carrying out research, designing real-world solutions to massive issues.

3. Build your profile with your personal information and resume.

4. Fill in the position details and your voluntary self-identification.

5. Check your application and send it in.

6. Applicants are eligible to apply for the Student Researcher program in India. 

Minimum Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. Program in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or Natural Sciences.

One or more experience areas in computer science from any of the following fields: Natural Language Understanding, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

Students in full time programs, returning to program after completing internship.

Research experience such as contributions to a research community including publications at premier conferences or journals. One or more programming experiences using one or more general-purpose languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++.
