Google has launched full-length JEE Main practice tests within its AI assistant, which is powered by the Gemini family of models, as part of a larger educational initiative in India.

The announcement was made during the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 event. The project aims to provide students with top-quality study materials with ease of access.

The JEE Main practice tests became available on January 28, 2026.

The AI-powered JEE Main practice tests require users to access Google AI through Google Search on both web and mobile platforms, which are available on Android and iOS devices. 

  • Sign In: A user needs to authenticate their Google account through Google AI on the Google Search platform. 

  • Initiate the Test: The user needs to enter "I want to take a JEE Main mock test" or "JEE Main practice test" in the chat box to start the test. 

The Google Search AI system enables users to create custom learning paths through its ability to modify test challenges and assessment materials and particular subject areas.
