DU Job Fair AVASAR 2026: Concludes with 1,830 Offers and, Top CTC at INR 10 LPA

The Central Placement Cell (CPC) of the University of Delhi successfully concluded its mega employment drive, ‘AVASAR 2026: Placement & Internship Fair’, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The high-profile event, held at the North Campus Multipurpose Hall, saw an overwhelming response from the student community, drawing over 7,000 aspirants seeking to kickstart their corporate careers.

The second edition of the fair proved highly lucrative, with participating companies extending a total of 1,830 job vacancies and internship slots. Highlighting the strong corporate demand for DU talent, the highest annual package offered at the drive crossed a Cost to Company (CTC) of ?10 Lakh, while premium internship stipends reached up to INR 60,000 per month.

A diverse cohort of 69 corporate companies from sectors like IT, finance, consulting, and retail set up recruitment desks. Organized under the aegis of the Office of the Dean of Students' Welfare, the drive was completely free of cost. Notably, eligibility was extended beyond regular campus students to include Delhi University alumni, as well as students from the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB).
