The CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Exam 2026 was conducted on February 17, 2026. According to the students who appeared in the Maths Paper 2026, they categorised the paper as moderate in difficulty.

As per the CBSE’s two-board exam policy for Class 10, students can enrol in the second registration for the same exam. Students can take this second exam to improve their grades or to clear the compartment.

Regular students can registration themseleves directly by the affiliated school through the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal, while the private students can register through the CBSE Private Candidate portal.

CBSC Class 10 Exams 2026 Maths Paper: Second Exam Registration  

To register for the Class 10 Maths Board Paper 2026, students must first appear for the mandatory board exams in February 2026. The List of Candidates (LOC) for the Second Board Examination will tentatively start after the result announcement of the current CBSC board exam.

 Eligibility for Second Exam

  • Improvement: Students who passed the first exam but want to improve their scores in up to three subjects (including Mathematics).

  • Compartment: Students who failed to qualify in the first exam can appear to clear the subject.

  • Second Exam Schedule: The phase 2 exams are expected to be conducted between May 15 and June 1, 2026.

Candidates who are applying for the second Class 10 Maths Board Paper 2026 must have aadhaar number, a recent passport-size photograph, and a digital signature.
