Expect the CAT 2025 notification to go live shortly. IIMs will upload the exam brochure and official details at iimcat.ac.in. Here's how to access the CAT 2025 notification when it's out.
IIM Kozhikode is set to publish the CAT exam 2025 notification in the coming days. MBA aspirants should check the registration schedule and eligibility criteria as soon as they're out.
CAT 2025 is set for November 30, 2025. The notification PDF will confirm the number of exam shifts and timings. In recent years, CAT has followed a three-shift format, unlike the earlier two-shift schedule.
The exam pattern will also be shared in the official notice. A more detailed structure will be revealed with the CAT mock test expected in October 2025.
IIM Kozhikode will announce the official CAT 2025 schedule along with the notification. Meanwhile, check the tentative test dates below.
Registration Opens August 2, 2025( from 1000 AM)
Registration Closes September 21, 2025( till 500 PM)
Admit Card Download November 5 to November 30, 2025

You can complete the CAT 2025 application process online at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates must complete and submit the form through the online portal. Follow these ways to apply
Head over to iimcat.ac.in.
Start registration – Click on the ‘New Registration’ link.
Enter basic details – Fill in your name, email ID, mobile number and other required information.
Verify your registration – Use the OTP sent to your registered email to confirm your account.
Access the application form – Log in to your account and open the CAT 2025 application form.
Fill personal and academic details – Enter your educational qualifications, personal information and contact details.
Upload documents – Upload a recent passport-size photograph and your scanned signature in the specified format.
Choose test cities – Select your preferred exam centers from the list of available cities.
Choose IIMs and programs – Indicate the IIMs and MBA programs you wish to apply for.
Pay the application fee – Complete the process by paying the required fee using a secure online payment method.
The official CAT 2025 notification will provide complete details about the eligibility criteria and the reservation policy followed by the IIMs. However, the basic eligibility requirements are as follows:
To be eligible for CAT 2025, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
For candidates belonging to SC, ST or PwD categories, the minimum requirement is 45% in their undergraduate degree.
Students in their final year of undergraduate studies or awaiting results can also apply, provided they meet the required conditions by the specified deadline.
