The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made the schedule and rules for the 2026 Annual Board Examinations public. Classes 10 (Matric) and 12 (Intermediate) theory exams will be held in February 2026.

All examinations will be conducted in two daily shifts:
1st Sitting: 9:30 AM – 12:45 PM
2nd Sitting: 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM
An additional 15 minutes is provided before writing begins for reading the question paper.
Admit cards can solely be downloaded by school principals from the official portals, and students need to get the signed and stamped copies from their respective schools.
Participants must arrive at the examination center 30 minutes before exam time.
Use of electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smartwatches, is completely banned in the exam hall.
Question Format: The 2026 exams follow a 50-50 pattern: 50% multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 50% subjective questions.
Passing Criteria: Students must score at least 33% in each subject to pass. For subjects with practicals, students must pass the theory and practical components separately.
Mode: All exams are conducted offline (pen-and-paper mode) at designated centers.
