The IEEE International Conference on AI and Emerging Technology 2.0 brought together experts, businesses, and innovators from around the world for three days of discussion on responsible AI and tech collaboration. The purpose of the Bennett University conference was to link AI theory to real-world applications.
Bennett University completed the three-day Global AI Summit 2025. It is also known as the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology 2.0. The event puts the university at the centre of international AI innovation and research teamwork.
The summit held from November 19th to 21st, brought together academic and corporate leaders to map India's place in the AI market, which is expected to exceed $1.8 trillion by 2030.
The summit began with an opening ceremony that stressed the need for global teamwork. University leaders, top industry figures, and over 10 international guests from major companies like Microsoft, Apple, Raytheon, and Iron Mountain spoke at the session.
As part of the event's focus on global academic exchange, we formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Exeter. They're a well-known school, ranking 155th in the QS World University Rankings for 2026.
This partnership is all about boosting cooperation and improving education worldwide. Prof. Richard Follett, Vice President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global) at the University of Exeter, signed the agreement during his visit. Having him as our Guest of Honour shows how important this collaboration is.
The summit drew some impressive experts from around the world. We had academics from top schools like Northwestern University, Sussex University, and Exeter University. We heard from researchers like Prof. Yang Xiang (Swinburne University of Technology, Australia), Prof. Katina Michael (The University of Sydney), Prof. Lizy Kurian (University of Texas at Austin, USA), and Prof. Arun K. Somani (Iowa State University, USA), plus many other respected people.
