APPSC Recruitment 2026: Most of the exams will be conducted in five district centres — Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, NTR, Tirupati, and Ananthapuramu – in offline mode.
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the APPSC exam calendar for 21 posts across different government departments in 2026. The phase-wise schedule for the APPSC recruitment exams is as follows: Phase 1 will be from January 27 to 31 and Phase 2 from February 9 to 13. The examinations will be held on an OMR-based test.
According to the APPSC exam calendar 2026, the district-wise first spell of exams for the posts of agriculture officer, technical assistant (Geo-Physics), junior lecturer (library science), assistant engineer, hostel welfare officer, assistant executive engineer, horticulture officer, junior officer assistant will be held from January 27 to 31.
The forest beat officer, assistant beat officer, thanedar, executive officer grade-III, forest section officer exams will be conducted during the second spell only, i.e., from February 9 to 13. All 21 posts call for candidates to clear two papers.
In the case of multiple posts, APPSC has mentioned that it is compulsory to obtain a minimum cutoff mark in the single General Studies and Mental Ability (GS and MA) paper. They have also mentioned that in certain instances, a common qualifying test will be adopted.
The examinations will mostly be conducted in two shifts - the forenoon session will be held from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
