The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET 2025) final results are scheduled to be released on January 19, 2026. The provisional answer key will be available earlier, on January 2.
Today, the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, will release admit cards for the AP TET 2025. Registered candidates can get their hall tickets from the official website (tet2dsc.apcfss.in) by entering their username and password.
The AP TET exam 2025 is scheduled to start on December 10 and will be held in two shifts: a morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and an afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
In August, the department issued the District Selection Committee TET merit list to fill 16,347 teaching positions in the state. This TET exam is important because the Supreme Court has said that all current teachers nationwide must pass the eligibility test within two years to keep their jobs.
The All-India Primary Teachers’ Federation estimates that about 9.8 million teachers across the country will be affected by this ruling.
The AP TET exam includes multiple-choice questions, each worth 1 mark and with 4 answer choices. The exam does not penalise wrong answers.
AP TET has two papers: Paper 1 is for teachers of Classes 1-5, and Paper 2 is for teachers of Classes 6-8. Individuals with both DElEd and BEd degrees who meet the requirements can take both papers.
The official results will be released on January 19, 2026. A preliminary answer key will be available on January 2.
To get the AP TET admit card, candidates must enter their username, password, and the captcha code shown on the screen.
