AIIMS Delhi Tops 2025 DHR-ICMR Health Research Summit; Wins gold

The Summit, organized by the Department of Health Research (DHR) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), was inaugurated on Thursday by Anupriya Singh Patel, Union Minister of State for Health.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has topped the highest national ranking and has been rewarded for its excellent institutional performance at the DHR-ICMR Health Research Excellence Summit 2025.

The summit was hosted by the Department of Health Research (DHR) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Health Anupriya Singh Patel on Thursday.

She highlighted India’s rising role in global health research, noting initiatives like MedTech Mitra, Rotavac, and the COVID-19 vaccines as key examples of self-reliance and scientific progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

The Union Minister assured that the benefits of new research and innovation will reach society at the grassroots level.
