The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the notification for the Central Recruitment Examination (CRE-AIIMS) Phase 5 for 2026. This mega recruitment drive aims to fill 1,484 vacancies for Group B and Group C non-faculty posts across 20 AIIMS institutes and central medical organisations, including ICMR, RML Hospital, and LHMC.

  • Notification Release & Registration Start: June 13, 2026  

  • Last Date to Apply Online: July 3, 2026 (5:00 PM) 

  • Application Status & Correction Window: July 11, 2026  

  • Admit Card Release Date: Second week of July 2026  

  • AIIMS CRE 5 Exam Date (Tentative): July 25 to July 27, 2026 

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment encompasses 57 different position categories. Vacancies include critical roles such as Nursing Officer, Lab Attendant, Staff Nurse, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Pharmacist, and Technical Assistant.

  • Educational Qualifications: Post-wise requirements range from 10th pass, 12th pass, and ITI, to Diplomas, Graduation, and Post-Graduation degrees.

  • Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years. The maximum age limit scales from 21 to 50 years, depending on the specific post, with government-mandated relaxation for reserved categories.

Application Fee Structure

  • General / OBC / EWS Candidates:  INR 3,000 

  • SC / ST Candidates: INR 2,400  

  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Exempted (Fee INR 0)  

Selection Process

Candidates will undergo a rigorous selection process comprising:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Testing general intelligence, quantitative aptitude, and core subject-matter knowledge.

  2. Skill Test / Practical Exam: (Applicable only to specific technical and clerical roles).

  3. Document Verification & Medical Exam: Final validation before onboarding.
