Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) is a state university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was opened in 1921 by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. It was later renamed to honour Mahatma Gandhi.
