Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) is a private institute with campuses in Sikkim and Kolkata. It was founded in 1995 to provide quality education in India. It became a university under the Sikkim State Legislature Act No. 4, 2006.
EIILM offers many UG, PG and doctoral programs that are mainly in management, hospitality, business analytics, and computer applications. The university is known for its Collaborative Industry-Based (CIB).

Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management offers a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral programs largely focused on management, hospitality, IT, and business analytics. The two main programs are the MBA and the BBA.
EIILM provides departmental specialisations within the MBA degree program in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, and Data Science, as well as Cloud ERP with SAP Certification.
The EIILM courses at the UG level offer BBA, BCA, and B.Sc.degrees in hospitality management, media management, and computer applications. Besides, the institute is also offering a PhD program.
The EIILM University offers only distance and online courses through its EIILM University – Distance Education (DDE) wing. A wide range of diplomas and postgraduate diploma courses are available. It includes Executive MBA, Retail Management Diploma, and Real Estate Management Diploma. These are offered by this distance learning university in addition to several programs like BBA, MBA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, and M.Com.
These courses have been created keeping in mind the students who want to study from home or while working. But the EIILM Kolkata campus does not offer any distance or online courses and only provides full-time regular programs like BBA, MBA, BCA, B.Sc, and PGDM.
Therefore, distance and online learning are the only options that you can avail of under the EIILM University’s distance education department and not at EIILM Kolkata.
The university has specific requirements for course applicants. Those interested in undergrad programs need a Class 12 pass in any field, with English as a required subject. Applicants must also pass the Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by MAKAUT or EIILM’s ECET.
The next steps are a group discussion (GD) and a personal interview (PI). The BCA program asks for a Class 12 pass with English and Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science or similar subjects, in addition to passing the CET, GD, and PI.
For postgrad programs, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from a school that is seen as legitimate, with at least 50% total marks. Students in their last year of undergrad can also apply, given that they finish their degree before the program starts.
PhD admissions follow UGC standards, which ask for a master’s degree in a related area. The selection work is done as the university says.
The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management Kolkata has adjusted its fee structure for 2025. The MBA program costs between INR 6.95 lakhs and INR 12 lakhs for the two-year program, with specialisations such as Business Analytics and Data Science being more expensive.
The BBA program is priced at INR 5.15 lakhs for four years, with options to specialise in Hospitality & Hotel Administration and Business Analytics. The BCA {Hons} program fee is INR 4.75 lakhs for the full course. These fees include tuition and academic costs. EIILM provides scholarships and payment plans to help qualified students.

Go to the EIILM website and find the Admission section.
Register by creating an account using your email and phone number.
Fill out the online application form, providing accurate personal, academic, and contact info.
Upload scanned copies of required documents like Class 10/12 mark sheets, bachelor’s degree (if applying for a graduate program), photos, and ID.
Pay the application fee online through net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
Submit the form, and save the application ID.
If you are shortlisted, participate in group discussions and interviews.
Check the merit lists on the website.
If selected, pay the fees and verify your documents to finalise your admission.
The institute will consider scores from several entrance exams for the 2025 admissions cycle, including the CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT. The CAT is planned for November 30, 2025. The MAT will be given in two formats. This is a paper-based test on December 13, 2025, and a computer-based test on December 21, 2025.
The XAT is scheduled for January 4, 2026, and the CMAT on January 25, 2026. Applicants also have the option to take EIILM’s own entrance exam. Applicants should keep these dates in mind when preparing for the admission tests.
EIILM Kolkata bases admissions on national exam scores. The CAT 2025 is scheduled for November 30, 2025, with results expected between December 19 and 21, 2025. The CAT 2025 answer key should be available around December 3, 2025.
Students can view their scores online with their login info. MAT results from the December 2025 exams will be out in late December. XAT 2026 and CMAT 2025 scores are released in late January and February 2026, respectively.
EIILM posts merit lists and entrance exam scores on its website shortly after the tests. Keeping track of these dates helps students manage their applications.
EIILM Kolkata has a good placement record and offers its students good career paths. In 2025, about 90% of students were hired by major companies. The highest salary offered was INR 18 LPA, and the average was about INR 8 LPA. Many top companies, such as Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, EY, Deloitte, PwC, ITC, and Vodafone, come to the campus to recruit students.
Students can start taking part in placements from their third semester, getting chances for internships, group discussions, and interview practice. The placement cell makes sure students are ready for jobs, helping them find work in IT, consulting, finance, FMCG, and retail.
