In the latest notification on June 6, NTA (National Testing Agency) announced a new exam date for the UGC NET students. The testing agency provides an examination date from June 25 to June 29. The UGC NET exams are conducted twice a year. The purpose of the exam is to get jobs as assistant professors, get tickets to the PhD programmes, and even get awards in JRF programmes as per the given cut-off.

The exams are conducted in the month of June and December.  And the time session for the examinations is split into two sessions. One is from 9:00 am to 12:00 am and another one is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Under the two sessions, there are two subjects in the examination, in which there is a common aptitude test, including mathematical ability, logical reasoning, teaching aptitude, and general awareness.

In another session, the students appear to show their master skills in the subject. The students must clear their post-graduation with a minimum of 55% to appear for the Thai examination. Even the students pursuing the second year of the post-graduation can go for the PhD entrance test. The intimation of the state-wise examination centre is announced 15 days after the test, and the admit cards are announced 2 or 3 days before the examination.

There is a dedicated subject-wise schedule provided by NTA that students can check on this link. There is a minimum cut-off decided by the University that comes after the examination, with the results. And the students have to clear that bar.
