Students can now check and download their scorecards by visiting the official NIOS results portal at results.nios.ac.in. The public exams were held nationwide from April 10 to May 6, 2026. According to official data, this year's overall pass percentage for secondary students stands at 66.92%.
Students must use their enrollment credentials to check their marks online. Follow these quick steps:
Visit the official website: results.nios.ac.in.
Click on the link "Secondary Exam Result April/May 2026".
Enter your unique Enrollment Number and the security captcha code.
Click Submit to view and download your digital marksheet.
To manage heavy website traffic, NIOS has provisioned alternative verification channels:
DigiLocker: Digital certificates and marksheets will be synced to the DigiLocker Platform for paperless verification.
SMS: Automated results will be dispatched to registered mobile numbers for instant qualification status.
Students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for re-checking or re-evaluation online. The registration window for re-evaluation closes on June 29, 2026. For students who did not pass, NIOS will open registrations for the On-Demand Examination (ODE) system soon, allowing them to retake papers without wasting an academic year.
